A & T took to the track for a Northern Fours League match, again at Edinburgh, on Sunday. Stoke exacted revenge for their Cup elimination the previous day, by defeating A & T, who finished well ahead of Bury and Stockport. Szwajorek, Finnigan and Hulton all won races for A & T. Szwajorek headed Bates until the last bend of heat 16, before being pulled back by an illegal use of the leg, that went unspotted by the referee.
