Astley & Tyldesley hosted the Midlands & North Regional Individual Championships at Gin Pit on Saturday. There was a huge entry list of over 100 riders for the five categories, for what turned out to be more than a 10 hours racing schedule! A & T's Polish star Tomasz Wlodarczyk turned in a great display, to take second place in the Senior Final. He bounced back after finishing last in his first outing to register four straight wins, to total 17 points. British Champion Lee Aris, of Wednesfield, won the event, scoring 19, with his team mate Garry Pearce finishing third after scoring 16. A & T's Darek Kurkowski narrowly missed a top three place, scoring 15 points, after receiving an exclusion in his second race.
