A & T hosted the opening Northern Regional Round of the British Youth & Junior League series on Saturday. A & T's youngsters put in some good performances, to take 3rd place out of five teams, in a match won by Sheffield. Adam Turnbull put in a battling performance in the U-8 event, whilst Joel Partington found the move up to the U-12 category a challenge. Adam Phillips raced unbeaten in the U-10 category and won the Grand Prix Final, ahead of teammate Adam Watson. Ben Dickenson made an impressive debut in the U-16 category, top scoring in the qualifying races, before finishing 3rd in the Grand Prix Final. Finally, Matthew Turnbull scored important points in the U-18 event.
