Astley & Tyldesley had an improved turn-out of riders for the 2nd round of the Manchester League Grand Prix series at Bury on Wednesday evening.

A & T rode to a comfortable win in the Senior (Division 1) match with Remi Burchardt racing unbeaten and Dariusz Pilas losing only to Stockport's Terry Norman, but having the satisfaction of beating him later in the match.

A & T just edged out Bury to take 2nd place in the Junior (Division 2) match. Adam Watson raced unbeaten in the U-10 match, with good performances from the other six A & T riders in the various categories. Adam Phillips, Joel Partington, newcomer Molly Walker and Jason Elliott each won a race on the night.
