Bury hosted the 6th and final round of the Manchester League Grand Prix series. The threatening rain held off for the U-10 and U-13 matches, but then came down with a vengeance for the U-16 and Senior matches.

Astley & Tyldesley easily won the Senior (Division 1) match to make it five wins out of six and easily retain the title they won last year. Stockport's Terry Norman scored a 16 points maximum, to draw level with A & T's Dariusz Pilas in the overall GP standings. Both riders will receive a trophy as joint winners.

Stockport pipped Bury by a point to win the Junior (Division 2) match. Stockport ran out convincing winners of the league, with Bury securing 2nd place overall. Stockport's Ali Lam dropped his first points of the year in the U-13 category, but clinched the GP series. Bury's Leo Brindley raced unbeaten in the U-16 category, but it was Stockport's Dylan Radcliffe who took the overall GP series.
