A & T competed at Hull on Saturday in the Veterans British Club Championship. The riders put in some good performances, but had to race a man short after a late withdrawal and were eliminated at the semi-final stage by Wednesfield and Leicester. Best for A & T was Frank Finnigan, making his first appearance of the year, as A & T scored points that will count in the overall British Club Championship series. Wednesfield went on to win the final, from Bristol side Filton, with Leicester third and Sandwell fourth.
