A & T were well represented at a very wet Sandwell track for the 2nd
National Round of the British Youth & Junior League series on Saturday.
In the U-8s category, Adam Turnbull scored 14 points in the qualifiers
and finished 3rd in the 'A' Final. Max Evans scored 15 points and
finished 4th in the 'A' Final. Tyler Koch scored 11 and finished 3rd in
the 'D' Final. Adam Watson raced unbeaten in the U-10 qualifiers,
scoring 16 points and went on to finish 4th in the 'A' Final. Adam
Phillips scored 12 points in the U-12 qualifiers and won the 'C' Final.
Laura Watson scored 12 points in the Girls category qualifiers and won
the 'B' Final. In the U-18s category, Ben Dickenson scored 8 points in
the qualifiers and won the 'C' Final. Luke Jamson scored 9 points and
took 3rd place in the 'C' Final. Matthew Turnbull scored 5 points and
finished 4th in the 'D' Final.
The outstanding finals that were not raced at Norwich in the 1st Round,
were raced off at Sandwell. Laura Watson finished 2nd in the Girls 'B'
Final. In the U-18s category, Ben Dickenson finished 2nd in the 'B'
Final and Luke Jamson finished 2nd in the 'C' Final.
Congratulations go to A & T's youngsters who posted some excellent
results. This is the reward for putting in the hard work at training and
racing regularly at local, regional and national competitions.
