The Combination match earlier in the season at Gin Pit finished in a
draw and this one proved to be almost as close. Adam Watson pulled off a
great pass to beat Michael Kennedy in heat 5, as A & T held a 1 point
lead after six heats. Bury hit back with two 6-4s to take a 3 points
lead after heat 9. A & T put in their two tactical reserves, Ben
Dickenson and Luke Jamson, to take a 7-3 win over M. Kennedy and Adam
South, to regain the lead after heat 10. Dickenson pulled off a great
pass on Jon-Luc Miladinovic on the last lap to share the points in heat
11. Joe Allen passed Jamson in heat 12, but with Joel Partington
comfortably in third place, the points were again shared and A & T held
on for a 60-59 win. For A & T, Dickenson raced unbeaten, with Jamson
losing once. For Bury, Allen lost only to Dickenson, with Miladinovic
beaten only by Dickenson and Jamson.
