Bury hosted the 6th and final round of the Northern Junior Grand Prix series. Adam Watson scored his 6th maximum score in the U-10s category, to go through the series unbeaten and take the title, with teammates Colin Farn and Adam Turnbull taking 2nd and 3rd places overall, to make it a clean sweep for A & T riders at this level. Joel Partington scored 14 points on the day in the U-13s section, but after missing four rounds of the series, was well adrift of the leaders. Laura Watson scored 8 points in the U-16s category. Ben Dickenson raced unbeaten on the day in the U-19s category, but this wasn't enough to overhaul Luke Jamson, whose total of 13 points on the day was sufficient to give him the overall series title, with Ben runner-up. Matthew Turnbull scored 10 points on the day. Stockport won the overall team element of this series, with A & T finishing runners-up, in an eight teams competition.
