Astley & Tyldesley suffered a whitewash defeat, 126-50, at the hands of
Hull at Gin Pit on a hot Sunday afternoon. A & T had a whole host of
riders who didn't make themselves available for a variety of reasons, as
they went down to their biggest ever home defeat. Luke Jamson put up a
brave fight for the home side, but Hull took revenge for their opening
day home defeat at the hands of A & T, by scoring maximum points in
every race.
