A & T had riders competing in the 2nd round of the Northern Junior Grand
Prix series at Sheffield's Cookson Park track on Sunday. Adam Turnbull
scored 14 to finish joint 1st in the U-10 category, Joel Partington
scored 15 to take joint 1st in the U-13 event and Matthew Turnbull
scored 16 to finish joint 1st in the U-19 category. Some excellent
performances put in by A & T riders this weekend - well done all round.
A & T are hosting the 2nd Round of the North West Go-Race Grand Prix
series this coming Sunday (16th May). First race is at 2 pm at the track
at the Astley & Tyldesley Miners' Welfare Club, Meanley Road, Gin Pit,
Tyldesley. M29 7DW. This will be followed by a Come and Try It session for
women and girls only, starting at 3.30 pm.
Team result: Sheffield 170, Stockport 116, A & T 45, Hull 28,
Heckmondwike 29, Bury 9.
