A & T were in action at Stockport on
Wednesday evening for round 3 of the Manchester League Grand Prix
series. A & T's youngsters put in another terrific display of racing,
with Adam Turnbull, Max Evans, Joel Partington and Adam Phillips all
being unbeaten by an opponent. Luke Jamson won his first three races in
the U-19 category, before taking a heavy fall in the last race as an
opponent chopped across him sharply on the back straight. The race
wasn't stopped and the two points dropped from that race proved costly
to A & T as we finished 2 points behind Stockport in the overall
standings. Stockport's top five scorers all raced unbeaten by an
opponent.

The Division 1 result was never in doubt with Stockport fielding seven
of the nine riders entered. Plenty of keen racing took place with no one
racing unbeaten.
