Astley & Tyldesley took their place in the 3rd National Round of the
British Youth & Junior League series at Sheffield on Saturday. Racing in
the U-12s match at The Graves, A & T took 6th place out of 8 teams on
the day. Max Evans raced unbeaten in the U-10s qualifying races and
finished 3rd in the Grand Prix 'A' Final. This keeps Max in 2nd place
overall in the series, with one round remaining. Matt Snell turned in a
battling performance, but missed out on qualifying for the finals by a
point, after a tough draw. John White won his D final in u8 and
Dan Burns unfortunately fell in his u12 D final finishing 4th.
