Astley & Tyldesley staged Round 4 of the A & T Go-Ride Grand Prix series at Gin Pit on Thursday evening. Nine riders entered and a handicapping system was used, taking into account riders' ages, abilities and experience.

Daniel Burns made light of starting half a lap behind in each race, to score a 16 points maximum and win the round. Three riders tied for 2nd place, after each finishing with 14 points. Matthew Sweeney and Daniel Smith-Makin were off 20 metres handicaps, whilst Tom Whitwam was off a half lap handicap. Whitwam chased, caught and passed Smith-Makin to finish 2nd in the race and 3rd on the night, whilst Sweeney raced away to take the win and overall 2nd place on the night.
