Stockport hosted Round 2 of the Manchester League Grand Prix series. On
a fast race track, A&T's juniors put in a strong display, with pride of
place going to Ciaran Collins, who scored his first ever maximum in the
u-13s event. Matthew Snell and Ben Dickinson won races in the u-10
category, as did Max Evans in the u-13 section and Reece Pollitt in the
u-16 match. A&T looked on track to take the win in the junior (Division
2) match, but there were shocks galore in the u-19 match, as a series of
falls and exclusions by the four Stockport riders let in Bury's pair to
top the scores and take a narrow win from A&T in the overall scores.
