A&T's juniors took to the track for the 2nd North Regional Round of the British Youth & Junior League series. Sheffield riders turned out in force and easily won the team event. A&T had eight riders competing and they all performed excellently, to take 2nd place on the day and keep A&T firmly in contention to qualify as a team for the National Rounds later in the season. Top performance was by Matthew Snell in the u-10s event, who scored 14 points in the qualifying heats and then went onto win the 'A' Final. Daisy Osmand belied her inexperience in the u-8s match, to score 14 points in the qualifying races and take 2nd place in the 'A' Final. She was joined in that final by John White, who finished 4th, after scoring 11 in the qualifiers. Max Evans and Daniel Burns excelled in the u-12s category, scoring 15 and 14 points respectively in the qualifying heats and then taking 2nd and 3rd places respectively in the 'A' Finals. There were good performances from Ashton Semtyshin who finished 2nd in the u-10s 'B' Final, from Ciaran Collins who finished 2nd in the u-14s 'B' Final and from Alex Semtyshin who won the u-12 'C' Final.
