Club coaches Will Evans and Mike Hack, along with British Cycling's
Go-Ride Coach Joe Malik, put 10 youngsters from a range of cycling
disciplines through their paces at Gin Pit on Saturday morning. The
event was Round 6 of the multi disciplinary Manchester Go-Ride Racing
League.
The youngsters received an hour's coaching, before competing in an
individual event. Ben Dickinson was A&T's lone rider on the day and he
showed his cycle speedway ability by taking 2nd place in the 'A' final.
The event was concluded by the youngsters' parents taking to the track
for a series of races. Once again, it was a great day's racing, enjoyed
by all present.
