Riders from the Astley & Tyldesley / CWTS Ltd club were in fine form at
Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire on Sunday. A&T's squad of riders took the
overall team win in Round 3 of the Northern Junior League series. This
makes it wins in all three rounds ridden to date, for A&T to sit at the
top of the table midway through the six round series. All nine of Astley
& Tyldesley's riders made valuable contributions, on a dry and dusty
circuit. Reece Pollitt was in top form, winning all his four races in
the u-16 match, with Matthew Snell scoring 14 points in the u-10 event
and Mark Graham bagging 13 in the Combination category.

Later in the afternoon, Astley & Tyldesley took 4th place in Round 3 of
the Northern Fours League series. Mark Graham continued his recent
improved form, by again top scoring for Team Green, with Reece Pollitt
scoring strongly. A&T were competitive throughout the match, just losing
out to Goshen and Heckmondwike for a higher placing on the day, as
Stockport ran out big winners.
