A&T were out in force at the 3rd North Regional Round of the British
Youth & Junior League at Stockport on Saturday
John White was in top form in the u-8s match, winning all his qualifying
heats and then storming to victory in the Grand Prix 'A' Final, despite
starting from the unfavourable outside gate position. Max Quarmby rode
well to take 2nd place in the 'B' Final. A&T's u-10s showed their
ability with Emily Burgess taking 2nd place and Ben Dickinson 3rd place
in the Grand Prix 'A' Final. Joe Quarmby won the 'B' Final and Charlie
Dickinson took 3rd place in the 'C' Final. Max Evans won the u-12s Grand
Prix 'A' Final, with Matt Snell winning the 'B' Final. Ciaran Collins
contested the u-14s match and he took 4th place in the Grand Prix 'A'
Final. Alex Semtyshin put in a strong performance to take 2nd place in
the Girls Grand Prix 'A' Final, whilst Reece Pollitt rounded off a great
day for A&T by taking the win in the u-16s Grand Prix 'A' Final.
The day's results put A&T in a strong position to qualify for the
National series for the third year running.
