Sat 30th August British Youth & Junior League Final Round 3 Wolverhampton

Astley & Tyldesley took to the East Park track in Wolverhampton on Saturday and the team finished in 6th place in the 3rd National Round of the British Youth & Junior League series. First up was the u-8s match and John White turned in another tremendous showing, taking 3rd place in the Grand Prix 'A' Final, which saw him extend his lead at the top of the British u-8 Grand Prix series, with just one round to go. Young Max Quarmby came 3rd in the 'D' Final, whilst in the u-10s group, Joe Quarmby took 3rd place in the 'B' Final. Max Evans reached another Grand Prix 'A' Final in the u-12s category, where he finished in 4th place. Matthew Snell took 3rd place in the 'B' Final. Reece Pollitt raced unbeaten in the u-16 qualifying heats and stormed to victory in the Grand Prix 'A' Final, to cap a great day for the Astley & Tyldesley club.

It's been another great result for the Astley & Tyldesley club's squad of talented local young riders, as the club has enhanced it's standing as one of the top junior teams in the country, with John White the current top ranked u-8 in the U.K.
