Astley & Tyldesley staged their Club Individual Championships at Gin Pit on a gloriously sunny Sunday afternoon. In the Senior event, Reece Pollitt held off a strong challenge from team manager Paul Graham, to win the Club Individual Championship for an incredible fifth successive year! Graham took second place overall, with Max Evans finishing third. A&T Senior Club Individual Championship Result: Reece Pollitt 15, Paul Graham 13, Max Evans 7, Mark Grantham 5. Referee - Mike Hack. In the Junior event, John White raced to a 20 points maximum score, which included a new personal best time. He inflicted the only defeat of the match on his nearest rival, Emily Burgess, when the two riders met in heat 18. Emily took the runner-up slot, with a score of 19 points, whilst her younger brother, Charlie Burgess, finished in 3rd place, after scoring 18 points.
