Astley & Tyldesley contested Round 3 of the Northern Fours & Junior League series at Heckmondwike, on Sunday. A&T took a fine second place in the Northern Fours League match. Reece Pollitt headed a solid scoring quartet, with excellent back up from Luke Jamson, captain Mark Mulvey and Ciaran Collins, as Team Green pipped Bury Comets for 2nd place. A red card issued to Bury Comets rider Chris Parish in heat 14 proved decisive, as he incurred a 4 points deduction for the card.
