Astley & Tyldesley secured 3rd place in the Northern Fours League table, by taking 3rd place in the 6th and final Round of the series at Bury on Sunday. Reece Pollitt was in top form for A&T, dropping just one point to Bury's Ben Scranage in his opening ride. Stockport pipped Bury Comets to take the win on the day and that was how the teams finished in the league table also. There was mixed fortunes for the Lush twins, as Jack raced unbeaten, but Mat was taken to hospital with a serious shoulder injury, after a spectacular crash in heat 13. In the Northern Junior Grand Prix rounds, Reece Pollitt raced unbeaten in the u-19s category, to clinch the Northern u-19 Grand Prix title. John White also raced unbeaten in the u-10s event, to secure 2nd place overall in the Northern u-10 Grand Prix series. A&T's 2nd place in the team event secured 2nd place, behind Bury, in the overall Northern Junior League table. A&T blooded three newcomers in this match - Kaylon Lees (u-10) and two u-13s, Cameron Jones and Jayjay Meakin.
