Astley & Tyldesley hosted Round 1 of the A&T Go-Ride Grand Prix series at a dry and dusty Gin Pit on Tuesday evening. 18 riders lined up to participate, with riders handicapped according to age and experience. 6 years old Max Quarmby made the most of his starting positions to win his four races and record a 16 points maximum score, to take 1st place on the night. Denby Ashurst scored 13 points and secured runners-up spot. There was a four rider run-off to determine the third place, after all finished on 12 points. John White won the run-off, from Harry Goodier, Jonah Clare and Jack Littler.
