Astley & Tyldesley had five youngsters who excelled in the 1st National Round of the British Youth & Junior League series at Poole on Saturday. 8 years old John White finished 2nd in the u-10 Grand Prix 'A' Final, after scoring 15 points out of 16 in his qualifying races. 10 years old Joe Quarmby won the u-10 Grand Prix 'B' Final after scoring 13 in the qualifiers, whilst 6 years old brother Max won the u-8 Grand Prix 'C' Final, after scoring 10 in the qualifiers. 17 years old Reece Pollitt finished 3rd in the u-17 Grand Prix 'A' Final, after scoring 14 in the qualifiers. 15 years old Ciaran Collins rode a great match to finish 4th in the u-17 Grand Prix 'B' Final, after scoring 13 in the qualifiers. |
