Round 3 of the Manchester League Grand Prix series was staged at Stockport on Wednesday evening. 6 years old Aiden Green of Astley & Tyldesley top scored in the u-10s match, losing only to Bury's Kaci Neath in heat 4. A&T's Emily Burgess won three races in the u-13s category, but was excluded in her match race with Bury's Josh Neath, so this let in Bury's Harry Radford to top score with 14, after losing twice to Emily. A keenly contested jointly run u-16/u-19 match, saw Stockport's Louis Wright and A&T's Max Evans as the joint top scoring u-16 riders. Stockport's Michael Preston won three races after an exclusion first time out. A&T's Reece Pollitt raced unbeaten as an u-19. Astley & Tyldesley took the team win for the third successive round, ahead of Stockport.
