A&T raced to a convincing win in the 2nd North Regional Round of the Little League series at Bury on Saturday. Frank White raced unbeaten in the qualifiers and won the u-8s Grand Prix Final. Little League match result: Astley & Tyldesley 84 Sheffield 26 Bury 10. A&T scorers: Frank White 16, Aiden Green 14, Duncan Whalley 13, Tom Beeley 12, Freddie Cox 10, Sabrina Evans 8, Lucy Grantham 6, Fraser Brundrett 5. A&T finished in 3rd place in the 2nd North Regional Round of the Youth & Junior League series that followed. Best for A&T were John White and Emily Burgess, who each scored 15 points in their qualifiers. John went on to win the u-12 Grand Prix Final, whilst Emily finished 2nd in the Girls Grand Prix Final.
