A&T's Max Evans top scored for the North & Scotland junior team, as they beat the South East & East in the final Battle of Britain junior match at Hull. Max scored 12 points and crucially followed his team partner home on three occasions to score vital heat wins. In a close match, Max dropped only one point to an opponent, as the North & Scotland won 71-66, to finish 2nd in the junior table. Reece Pollitt was second top scorer for the North & Scotland in the senior match, scoring 13 and one bonus point. The North & Scotland were well beaten 82-114 and finished 4th and last in the senior table, an agonising three race points behind the South West & Wales. The Midlands have won the overall series (junior and senior results combined), with the South East & East runners-up, the North & Scotland third and the South West & Wales fourth. |
