Sat 30th June British Youth & Junior League National Round 1 Bury

A&T had a strong turn out of riders at Bury on Saturday, having qualified as North Regional winners, for the 1st round of the British Youth & Junior League national series. A&T ran out winners of the twelve teams who contested the Little League competition, for u-8 and u-10 riders. A&T's total of 92 points put them well clear of Suffolk side, Kesgrave, who finished 2nd. In the u-8 Grand Prix 'A' Final, A&T's Aiden Green finished 2nd, with team mate Frank White 3rd.
Duncan Whalley finished 4th in the u-10 Grand Prix 'A' Final.

A&T took 2nd place, out of eight teams, in the British Youth & Junior League competition, for u-12, u-14, u-18 and Girls riders. A&T's John White began his defence of the British u-12 Grand Prix title, by winning all his races in the qualifiers and comfortably winning the u-12 Grand Prix 'A' Final. Ciaran Collins put in a great effort in the u-18s match, finishing 2nd in the Grand Prix 'A' Final. 14 year old Emily Burgess maintained her blistering form this year, scoring 15 points in the qualifiers, before racing to victory in the Girls Grand Prix 'A' Final, heading home World u-16 Girls Champion, Macie Schmidt, of Poole.
