We finally staged Round 1 of the A&T Ladder League series, on Sunday afternoon, after three postponements, due to heavy rain in the past fortnight. 13 club riders turned out, with each rider having five races, over the 15 heats formula. This was our first ever staging of a match, using the ladder formula, and it was well received, with riders moving up or down a level or grid position, dependent on their results from each race. Duncan Whalley took the overall win, after winning all his five races from grid 4, in the top level. His hardest race came in heat 15, when Frank White held him off the gate and led until the last lap, when Duncan rounded him on the back straight, to take the win. Oscar Belt rode consistently well to finish 3rd overall.
