|Sun 25th July||Stockport v Astley & Tyldesley||Stockport|
A much changed Astley & Tyldesley team rode to a 100-59 win at Stockport in a North & Scotland League Division 1 match. On a hot, sunny day, the home team could only muster three riders, whilst A&T fielded two u-10 riders, Sonny Waddington and Levi Edwards, and had Mike Hack riding in his first match for eight years.
The Stockport trio were in fine form and took seven race wins between them, which could have been more but for sportingly allowing A&T's impressive youngster Sonny Waddington to take three race wins late on. For A&T, Steve Harris lost once each to Jake Read and Ben Higham, whilst Reece Pollitt was unbeaten, apart from a machine failure in heat 12. It was a friendly sporting match, and credit to both clubs for completing the fixture under the current difficult circumstances.
