Astley & Tyldesley rounded off the 2021 season with the fourth and final round of the A&T Ladder League series at Gin Pit on a mild, dry Tuesday evening. 12 club riders turned out, 6 of whom are first year riders, with each rider having five races, over the 15 heats formula. Riders moved up or down a level or grid position, dependent on their results from each race. Duncan Whalley took the overall win on the night, winning his last four races after losing to Frank White in heat 1. Frank was runner-up, ahead of David Hamilton, riding in just his third match, and Oscar Belt. Duncan Whalley also clinched the overall series win, finishing on 57 points, ahead of Frank White on 53 and Oscar Belt on 47. Congratulations go to Frank White, David Hamilton, Josh Pilkington, Alex Lawless and Chloe Bassett, who all recorded their personal best times last night.
