A&T opened the 2025 season with two good performances in the Northern Fours and Junior League Round 1 event at a cold and damp Hull circuit on Sunday. A&T were in strong contention with Sheffield and Bury, winners of the last two Fours League series, throughout the match. An unfortunate tangle in heat 19 between race leader John White and Hull's Noah Lyon, saw them lock bikes on the last lap, for Bury's Eryk Motala and Heckmondwike's Justin Naylor to come past for 1st and 2nd places, with White awarded third place. This incident proved crucial in Bury pipping A&T for 2nd place, with Sheffield a further point ahead to take the win on the day. Frank White was in brilliant form for A&T, winning two races, with excellent performances from John White and Emily Burgess, who both won a race apiece.
