Astley & Tyldesley put in two more strong performances in Round 2 of the Northern Fours & Junior League series at Heckmondwike on Sunday. In the Fours League match, Frank White was again in great form for A&T and, along with brother John, won two races each. A&T finished in 4th place, but consider themselves unfortunate not to have finished higher. In heat 7, race leader Emily Burgess was brought down by Bury's Danny Taylor on the last lap, but the race was allowed to continue, and she came home in 4th place. Sheffield pipped Hull to take the win, with Bury finishing 3rd, two points ahead of A&T.
