The club consolidated its activities in 1992, with improved
results and more senior riders (Steve Blair, Dave Kilroy, George Hughes,
Simon Robinson) making up the 1st team.

A&T finished 5th out of 7 teams in the Manchester League Division 1 and 3rd
out of 4 teams in Division 2. The club entered the British League North for
the first time and finished 5th out of 6 teams. Mike Hack was top scorer
with 439 points, whilst Steve Blair topped the race averages, on 3.21. The
seeding of the centre resulted in a nice centre green, to give the track a
more permanent look. Mike Hack was the holder of the Wilkinson Sword award,
having been presented with it at the end of the 1991 season.
