On track, the club enjoyed a much improved season, with the signing of the
two Polish riders in 2002 proving to be the catalyst. Przemek Binkowski
returned for the full season, but Tomasz Wlodarczyk was unable to, so Pawel
Kozlowski was signed up and he raced for part of the season. Several new
senior riders joined the club, along with three secondary registrations from
Stoke, and the 1st team was much more competitive. Przemek broke the track
record in his first race back, the time of 41.25 seconds was never beaten,
before the old track was bulldozed early in 2016, to make way for the
current track. Pawel became the first A&T rider to race in a World
	Individual Final.

Becky Heslop had a magnificent season at junior level. She become the first
female rider in the 53 years history of British Finals to finish in the top
three at any level, when finishing 2nd in the u-13 Final at Poole. The 1st
team finished 3rd out of 5 teams in the Northern League, 8th out of 9 teams
in the Northern Fours League, 1st out of 3 teams in the Manchester League
Division 1. The junior team finished 2nd out of 7 teams in the Northern
Junior League and 2nd out of 3 teams in the Manchester League Division 2.
Przemek Binkowski was top scorer, with 226 points, and he also topped the
race averages, on an incredible 3.83.
