Astley & Tyldesley assisted British Cycling with their highly successful promotion of the Go-Ride-In event at the City of Manchester Stadium. In the region of 2,500 youngsters participated in the event which featured 16 different activities, including cycle speedway. A & T's European Champions Damian Zareba and Remi Burchardt put on a series of demonstration races, whilst A & T's BCF qualified coaches Gary Nuttall and Mike Hack organized the cycle speedway races for a constant stream of youngsters throughout the day.
