A&T Celebrate 25 years |

On Saturday 23 May 2015, the Astley & Tyldesley Cycling Club will be holding a major event, to celebrate the Club's 25th Anniversary season. Sixty three riders from across the country having entered to compete in five individual events. The racing starts at 12 noon with the Junior Individual, followed at 1.45 pm by the Girls Individual and u-10 Girls Individual events. The Intermediate Individual is scheduled for 2.30 pm, with the main event of the day, the Senior Individual listed as a 4 pm start. After the racing has finished, riders, officials, volunteers and supporters are invited to a social evening in the Miners' Welfare Club to celebrate 25 years of cycle speedway at Astley & Tyldesley. The Club sincerely hopes that many former riders and friends of the club will be able to make it to this special event. The Mayor of Wigan, Councillor Phyll Cullen, will be in attendance, along with several other official guests. |
