Three more signings for Astley & Tyldesley Cycle Speedway

The cycle speedway transfer window closed on 31st January and Astley & Tyldesley secured three more signings during the last week of the window. A&T swooped to sign three riders from the current Elite League champions, Horspath, of Oxford. Former British Veterans Indoor Champion Errol Thaw is a high profile signing for A&T, along with his colleagues Simon Munden and Leighton Bates. All three have considerable experience at Elite League level and will be valuable additions to A&T's 1st Team squad, to give team manager Paul Graham a welcome selection headache for when the season gets underway. All three riders are Stoke based, so have cut down on their travelling considerably by switching to A&T. Munden previously lined up for A&T during the 2007 season.
