From NORTH EAST Leave M62/M60 at Junction 14 of M60 (Manchester Ring Road West), following
signs for A580 St Helens. Go straight on through three sets of traffic lights. At the fourth set of traffic lights, bear left in order to turn right, into Chaddock Lane (A572 towards Astley/Leigh). Amans Restaurant is on the right hand side. Bear left at the first mini-roundabout, and then turn right at the second mini-roundabout, onto Princess Avenue. Take the third left into Ley Road, towards Gin Pit Village, where the road becomes Meanley Road. Astley & Tyldesley Miners’ Welfare Club and the Cycle Speedway Track are at the end of Meanley Road, on the right hand side. From EAST Join M60 (Manchester Ring Road South) Leave M60 at Junction 13, following signs for A572 Leigh/Worsley. Take second exit at the roundabout, onto A575 towards Bolton/Walkden. Turn left at the first set of traffic lights onto the A580, towards St. Helens. Go straight through two sets of traffic lights. Take the third exit at roundabout, and then take the first exit at the next roundabout onto the A6, towards Salford. At the first set of traffic lights, turn right onto Armitage Avenue (A5082, towards Tyldesley). Go straight on at the first mini-roundabout. Turn right at the second mini-roundabout, onto Sale Lane (A577, towards Tyldesley). When in Tyldesley Town Centre, turn left into Astley Street, opposite Market Square. After approximately ½ mile turn right onto Ley Road, Ley Road, towards Gin Pit Village, where the road becomes Meanley Road. Astley & Tyldesley Miners’ Welfare Club and the Cycle Speedway Track are at the end of Meanley Road, on the right hand side. From SOUTH / MIDLANDS Leave M6 at Junction 22. Take the third exit at the roundabout (A579 towards Leigh). At the first set of traffic lights, turn right onto the A572, Newton Road. Go straight on at the first set of traffic lights, then at the second set of traffic lights, turn right onto the A580, towards Manchester. Go straight on at the first set of traffic lights, and straight on at the roundabout. At the next set of traffic lights, turn left into Higher Green Lane towards Astley. Turn left onto Manchester Road (A572, towards Leigh). Bear left at the first mini-roundabout, and then turn right at the second mini-roundabout, onto Princess Avenue. Take the third left into Ley Road, towards Gin Pit Village, where the road becomes Meanley Road. Astley & Tyldesley Miners’ Welfare Club and the Cycle Speedway Track
