Astley & Tyldesley hosted a round of the Northern Junior League series at Gin Pit on Saturday. A most disappointing turn-out saw only three clubs represented. Despite that, there was some good racing in a well presented meeting on a well prepared track.

A & T's Adam Phillips (pictured) scored the only maximum of the day, racing unbeaten in the U-10s category, with excellent performances from some of the rest of the team. A & T pipped Stockport in the team scores, with Bury third.
