A & T entertained Stockport in a junior challenge match at Gin Pit on
Sunday. A stronger Stockport squad loaned Jake Read to a very
inexperienced A & T team, following the non-arrival of Tyler Koch, to
make for a more competitive match. A good match took place and although
the outcome of a Stockport win was never in doubt, the A & T youngsters
gave it their all and gained valuable match experience. Read raced
unbeaten, with Reece Pollitt scoring well, whilst Bethan Braithwaite and
Alex Green were both race winners. Newcomer Blake Healey impressed for
Stockport, with their more experienced riders all scoring well.
