A & T staged the 4th Round of the A & T Go-Ride Grand Prix series on Sunday. The event was staged on a 55 metres grass circuit at the Three Sisters Motor Racing Circuit in Ashton-in-Makerfield, as part of the Wigan Family Cycling Day. Quite a few newcomers enjoyed a free trial in the morning, but heavy rain fell throughout the match, which reduced the numbers of potential new recruits to the event. Adam Phillips took a fall in heat 5 in the slippery conditions, but pulled off a last bend pass on Adam Turnbull to win heat 8. Turnbull took advantage of a slip by Sacha Street to win heat 10, which put him on 15 points, along with Phillips, with Street one point adrift on 14. In the run-off for 1st place, Turnbull held off Phillips to take the winner's trophy for this round.
