The Manchester League Individual Finals were held at Stockport, on a
very sunny Sunday afternoon.
Max Evans continued his amazing run of success by winning the U-10
Individual Championship with an unbeaten 16 points score. Team mates
Matt Snell and Dan Smith-Makin finished just outside the frame, scoring
13 and 11 points respectively.

Max also competed in the U-13 Championship and took an excellent 2nd
place overall, dropping just 1 point to the winner, Adam Watson, of
Bury. Matt Snell again impressed, returning a 12 points score at this
level.

Adam Phillips took 2nd place in the U-16s Championship, scoring 14
points and finishing just 1 point behind the winner, Stockport's Jake
Read. Reece Pollitt lost a run-off for 3rd place.

Adam Phillips also raced in th U-19s Championship and he turned in a
creditable performance to score 12 points, as Stockport's Ben Higham won
with a maximum score.

(Stockport) 14, Jake Read (Stockport) 13, Adam Phillips (A & T) 12,
Laura Watson (Bury) 11, Connor Simpson (Stockport) 10.

Ron Makin competed in the Senior Individual and finished with a score of
8 points, as home rider Terry Norman won the title for the 7th time,
losing only to Jack Lush in heat 5.
