British Youth & Junior League North Regional Round 1. At Astley & Tyldesley. Despite heavy overnight rain and rain throughout the first part of the afternoon, which rendered the track on the heavy side, a great day's racing took place at Gin Pit. Sheffield ran away with the Northern section last year, but A&T pushed them really hard throughout, before the Stars just edged it, to take the team win on the day. All the A&T youngsters impressed, with special mentions to John White and Max Evans, who both raced unbeaten in their qualifying groups, before taking 2nd places in their grand prix finals, and to Ben Dickinson and Reece Pollitt, who won their respective grand prix finals.
