A small band of A&T juniors put in a great performance in the 4th North
Regional Round of the British Youth & Junior League series at Edinburgh
on Saturday. Although finishing behind Sheffield on the day, by
finishing ahead of Hull and Bury, A&T secured their place in the
National Rounds series later this summer.
Sheffield and A&T are the two Northern qualifiers, who will race against
six other clubs in the four National rounds. All five A&T riders reached
their respective Grand Prix 'A' Finals, with John White winning the u-8s
category. Max Evans took 2nd place in the u-12s section, whilst Ben
Dickinson finished 2nd and Ciaran Collins finished 3rd in the u-10s and u-14s matches
respectively. Reece Pollitt was 4th in the u-16s event.
A big well done to the A&T junior squad on qualifying for the National
series, for the third year running. And a big thank you to all parents
for their support.
