Astley & Tyldesley staged Round 2 of the A&T Go-Ride Grand Prix series
at Gin Pit on a wet Tuesday evening. 17 youngsters lined up for the
event, which was run on a handicap system.
Max Quarmby and Lucy Grantham both raced unbeaten in the qualifying
races and it was young Max who took the overall win after a tie breaker.
Three riders finished on 13 points, so a run-off for 3rd place was
required. This was won by Emily Burgess, ahead of John White and Charlie
Burgess.
