Max Evans top scored, with 18 points, for the North & Scotland team, who rode to a fine 97-83 win, in the Junior Battle of Britain match against the Midlands at Wednesfield on Sunday. The Midlands relied heavily on their top three riders, whilst the North & Scotland team scored solidly throughout. With the South East & East team losing against the South & South Wales team at Exeter, this means that next month's match at Gt. Blakenham will be a title decider. The North & Scotland senior team were well beaten, 121-78, by the Midlands in the following match. Steve Harris scored 10 points for the visitors. |
