Astley & Tyldesley hosted Round 1 of this year's Manchester League series. On a cold, damp and blustery evening, 23 riders turned out at Gin Pit. A&T took the team win in the Division 1 match, with both A&T's Reece Pollitt and Stockport's Jake Read riding to 16 points maximums. Reece recorded the fastest time of the night, 42.09 seconds in heat 1. Referee - Chaz Whalley. There was the welcome addition of a Women's category, as part of the Division 2 match, for restricted categories. Defending champions A&T took a convincing team win in the Division 2 match. A&T's Aiden Green, Tom Morrissey and Emily Burgess all raced to 16 points maximum scores in the u-10s, u-13s and Women's categories respectively. Stockport's Harry Hulme was the lone u-16 rider, with no entrants for the u-19 event.
