Gin Pit Storm and Round 1 winners Tyldesley Typhoons were neck and neck throughout the match, before the Storm pulled away to win by 4 points, with Astley Hurricanes third. The Storm's Charlie Burgess was the meeting's top scorer and he was unbeaten by an opponent, after shepherding team partner Megan Lloyd to a rare maximum score in heat 1.
